What data do we collect?

We collect information when you book a service or buy a product at

`Our Hair Lounge`. We will also collect information if you are applying for a job.

 

The information we will request from you:

1.  Full name 

2. Contact number 

3. Email address

4. Date of birth 

5. Home address

6. Medical notes (pregnancy notes or allergies to products)

7. Bank card details

​ How we use this data?

We use that date to create a profile on our booking system `Fresha`.

This data will enable us to create a client profile and book your requested service. Failure to provide the information that we need will result in us being unable to carry out the service.

 

You also have the option to subscribe to updates, this can be found on our website www.ourhairlounge.co.uk. Subscribing to this service will ensure that you are kept up to date with the latest news and information.

You are able to unsubscribe at any time.

 

We will not share your information with any other third party without your consent, except to help prevent fraud or if required to do so by law.

We would like to keep in contact with our clients, the tools that we may use to do this are:

• Email

• Text messages

• Phone calls

 

This is so that you are aware of our latest news and information.

 

Also, our booking system Fresha offers a reminder service so you don’t need to worry about missing your next appointment. These reminders will be sent via email or a text message.

 

When booking an appointment at `Our Hair Lounge` we will ask for your consent regarding marketing.

 

You can opt in or out at any time. If you wish to opt out at a later date you can do so by contacting Amina Ali via email- ourhairlounge@gmail.com.

 

How long we store your information on our system

 

If you are a recurring client, we will have a history of your service record. This includes:

 

• Chemical service notes

• Product history

• Your expenditure history with us.

 

 If you stop coming to us, ` Our Hair Lounge ` will store this information for two years.

 

At the end of this two-year period we will archive your personal details, with the exception of your name and chemical service notes history (which will be kept for four years) and financial transaction history (which will be stored for six years).

 

 Where is your data stored?

 

Our Hair Lounge uses the booking system Fresha:

 

“we are hard at work to make sure our hosting providers and other cloud service providers are themselves GDPR compliant. All data of EU citizens on Fresha is stored in either:

• the European Economic Area; or

• in a country which the European Commission has determined provides an adequate level or protection (including via Privacy Shield agreements); or

• to service providers who have an agreement with us compliant with the Model Contract Clauses (as defined by the European Union)”
